Sunnybrook Children’s Home announces the appointment of Ron Veazey, current Director of Advancement, as Interim Executive Director, effective immediately. This leadership transition follows the recent resignation of Myrle Grate, who faithfully served Sunnybrook’s mission for over a decade.
Ron brings deep knowledge of Sunnybrook’s ministry, values, and operations, and will provide steady leadership during this time of transition. The Board of Directors will conduct a national search to identify the next permanent Executive Director who will help guide Sunnybrook’s future and continue our commitment to serving children and families with excellence.
Board President Dwayne Blaylock shared, “We are confident in Ron’s ability to lead Sunnybrook during this important season. His passion for our mission and his experience with the organization make him well-suited to serve in this interim role as we thoughtfully pursue our next permanent leader.”
We are grateful for the prayers, support, and encouragement of our community as Sunnybrook moves forward. Updates will be shared as the search progresses.
