Specialized Care

Realizing the counseling needs of foster children often stem from histories of abuse, trauma, and neglect, Sunnybrook specializes in trauma informed care, attachment and adjustment issues.

Who We Serve

Sunnybrook serves foster youth ages 5 to 20.

Session Times

Sessions generally last 1 hour and are typically scheduled after school hours Monday – Friday or during times when school is not in session.

Insurance

Sunnybrook currently takes Magnolia (Medicaid) and BCBS as insurance and anticipates adding other insurance companies in the near future.

Meet Kenny, Sunnybrook’s licensed counselor!

With a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling + a M.A. in Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary and 8 years of experience in trauma-informed care and counseling, Kenny is ready to help your foster child and family heal from past trauma as you adapt and adjust to new realities of your growing family.
